Phuket Island
Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand.
The main island runs about 50 km from north to south and 20 km from west to east.
The island offers many different attractions, beaches and festivals that have to be seen.
You can also enjoy a wide range of activities like surfing, swimming, snorkelling, sailing, golfing and a lot more.
The most popular tourist area is Patong Beach on the west coast where′s the most of Phuket′s nightlife.
Less developed areas are Nai Harn Beach, Rawai Beach, Kata Karon Beach, perfect for families who want to have a relaxed day. |

If you come in the high season (November to March) you get the best weather, more sun and low rainfall.
But during this time many people visit the land and the result is that everything (hotels, sport activities, trips, ...) is getting more expensive.
From May to October it′s low season which has more rain than the high season. But you can also get more sun than rain in this season.
It′s a myth that the weather is always bad what many guidebooks tell you.

Our Tip - Must See Attraction in the evening
Phromthep Cape
The Phromthep Cape is on the southwestern corner of Phuket. It′s located to the south of Nai Harn Beach and to the west of Rawai Beach.
Arrived on the car park you have to climb up the steps, then you will see the spectacular view of the Andaman Sea.
There′s also an elephant shrine and a lighthouse which you can discover.
Many tourists as well as locals appear there at evening. The reason is that Phromthep Cape is the most popular sunset viewpoint of Phuket.
